Production / Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-estabilished and growing manufacturer of sheet metal fabricated products based in Chelmsford, due to the ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Production / Design with some knowledge of 3D modelling software, ideally solidworks.
Production / Design Engineer Position Overview
Setting and operating Amada CNC laser, press and punch machinery
Creating 3D CAD drawings of sheet metal products
Nesting of sheet metal parts and creating CAM programs for manufacture
Adhering to health and safety standards in the factory
Production / Design Engineer Position Requirements
Previous hands-on experience in manufacturing
Knowledge/ experience with 3D modelling software, ideally Solidworks
Based in a commutable distance of Chelmsford
Experience in the sheet metal industry is a distinct advantage
Production / Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary GBP22,000 - GBP28,000 - depending on experience
Monday to Friday, full-time permanent position
