Qualified Social Worker, Permanence Team
We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker within a Permanence Team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours for working parents and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Stockton-on-Tee's Council.
Main duties include:
Supporting children, primary carers and families to support agreed long term permanent plans
Assessing the needs of those cared for outside the birth parent's care
Special Guardianship Orders
Child Arrangement Orders
Care Planning
Complex Case HoldingTo be successful:
For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a HCPC Registration and educated to a Social Work Degree Level. The client requests that the worker will have experience of assessment, care planning, conflict resolution and direct work with children and young people. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within a Children's Permanence, Fostering or Adoption Team.
