Tate are currently recruiting for a temporary Financial Accounts Assistant for a 6-month temporary contract paying GBP18per hour.

Our client is a large manufacturing company with plants across this UK.

This role will be working from home; however, you will need to be based close to the Chilton or Billingham office to collect IT equipment and occasional office visits.

The Role:
Responsible for the ensuring the monthly accounting, reporting and subsequent reviews with the business are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Working with the rest of the team to develop and improve processes, and with internal and external business stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Working with the businesses to ensure the accurate completion of month end accounts and reporting according to the agreed month-end close calendar including:
- Monthly reconciliations of GL accounts
- R&D reporting, budgeting and maintenance
- Inter company transaction monitoring and reporting
- Fixed assets
- Monthly overhead reporting and analysis
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, half and full year reporting packs with and for business units
- Assisting in the annual preparation of tax packs
- Assist with both internal and external audits;
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders and delivering exemplary customer service.
- Actively engaging in continuous improvement activities to deliver process/controls improvement and efficiency's.

To be considered for this role you will need to be:

- Part Qualified ACA/ACCA (Pref) or CIMA - Essential

- 2 years of experience in Financial Accounting role in an MNC environment - Desirable

- Good working knowledge of SAP (Preferred) /Oracle/JDE

- Ability to plan and manage workload to meet tight deadlines

- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills

- Able to work independently and as part of a diverse and dispersed team
