IT Technician - Sheffield
We have an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join an IT Solutions company based in Skipton on a permanent basis. Due to the acquisition of new customers in recent months, they are looking to appoint an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join their close-knit team. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar technical role, have strong interpersonal skills and be confident in dealing with new and existing customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work as part of the IT Support team, receiving and recording requests via email and the phone from customers.
Ensure that tickets are responded to within SLA's and completed through remote and on-site work.
Provide technical support to end-users in the business and customers.
Take ownership of technical issues and act efficiently to resolve these.
Install, maintain and support IT equipment (including printers, servers, telephony equipment and laptops).
Maintain and update servers and networks.
Liaise with relevant suppliers and third parties on behalf of customers.
Skills/Experience should include some of the following:
Windows Servers
Active Directory, Group Policy
Office 365 / Azure AD
Microsoft Exchange
Hardware Support
Networking Knowledge - TCP/IP, Cabling, Routers and Switches
SQL Experience (nice to have)
ERP knowledge (nice to have)
