Working Days and Hours:

5 shifts per week across Monday to Sunday.

The shift will be either;

* Early: 6.30am to 2.30pm

* Late: 2pm to 10pm

* Mid: 9.30am to 5.30pm

*The successful candidate would be flexible to work all 3 shifts above

Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday hours worked between 6am to 8pm

GBP10.00 to GBP11.00 paye inclusive of Holiday Pay per hour

GBP11.00-GBP12.00 umbrella per hour

Monday to Friday hours worked between 8pm to 6am and Saturdays

GBP13.00 to GBP14.00 paye inclusive of Holiday Pay per hour

GBP14.00-GBP15.60 umbrella per hour

Sundays

GBP16.00 to GBP17.00 paye inclusive of Holiday Pay per hour

GBP17.00-GBP19.00 umbrella per hour

Key Responsibilities:

* Dealing with inbound and outbound phone calls from staff who may not be able to attend their shifts and update the relevant line manager

* 70% of the role will be dealing with inbound and outbound phone calls from staff and managers. 30% will be emailing updates and messages to managers about their staff attending shifts booked.

* Manage staffing requests using the E-Rostering and Bank Staff systems, placing staff with the appropriate skills and competencies to cover the role and ensure that requesting managers are updated with regard to progress at regular intervals.

* Advise managers and service users on Staffing booking procedures, agency rules and framework rates.

* Process requests from external agencies and clients, liaising with contacts as required ensuring that all bookings are in line with current NHS framework rates and systems are updated.

* Communicate with temporary staff, managers and agencies on a regular basis ensuring that all Trust procedures are followed.

* Carry out and maintain compliancy checks for external agency staff in line with NHS and NHSI framework standards. Logging and recording agency competency and compliancy checklists and escalating concerns to Staffing Bookings Lead.

* Maintain clear documentation and update systems to ensure that communication is maintained, in all aspects of service delivery, to staff, external agencies, managers and colleagues. This will include communication via e-email, face to face, text and phone.

* Update and maintain Staffing logs and databases, escalating issues to the Bookings Lead or Bookings/Reporting Manager where appropriate.

* Input data onto Bank Staff and E-Rostering systems for all Temporary staff, including Nursing, Allied Health Professionals and Administration staff.

* Assist the Bookings Lead with the processing and recording of receipt of Local Induction checklists for internal and external Staff.

* Log complaints or concerns that are raised relating to Temporary Bank and Agency staff, liaising with team/ward managers, bank staff and external agencies. Request and collate statements escalating to Temporary Staffing Bookings Lead or Matron as appropriate.

* Assist the Staffing Invoicing Assistants with queries relating to agency staff bookings and charge rates.

* Assist with resolving bank staff pay queries, escalating to the Payroll Administration Assistant/Payroll and Reporting Lead when required
