Skills Direct Ltd are delighted to be working with an employer if choice based in Trowbridge. They are seeking Planning Manager support to join the team on a temporary basis.
What you will be doing:
To support the Planning Manager with the development of the manufacturing process by reviewing the onsite capacity planning
* Support the Senior Manager Supply & Logistics in management/delegation of the planning teams workload
* Monitor and review the capacity plan- making adjustments in the event of changes to the production
* Work order management with the ERP system
* Managing the daily, weekly, monthly planning meetings to support the planning function
* Support the planning team in the weekly production schedule
* Review and monitor ways to improve and make the capacity planning and manufacturing process more efficient
What you will need to succeed:
* Bachelor degree in Business or related field
* Experience in production planning, procurement or supply chain role
* Experience of working within an manufacturing company such as Food, Cosmetic or Pharmaceutical
* Excellent communication skills- both verbally and written
* Good interpersonal, leadership and motivational skills
* Experience in capacity planning essential
What you will receive in return:
* Hour: Monday to Friday - full time
* Salary : GBP40,000 per annum (DOE)
