Unit4's Professional Services team works across our technology and systems to deliver customers' solutions in our industry verticals. As a Solution Architect in our Professional Services team, you will have the opportunity to expand your career into the cutting-edge cloud ERP technologies being offered by the organization. The Solution Architect role is very senior and influential in Unit4. You will have the opportunity to get involved in both customer activities pre-/post sales and further enhance our range of products. It is therefore crucial that you understand and can articulate the architectural framework that the portfolio of Unit4 building blocks integrates into with the business and technical processes that need to be executed in the customer application landscape.

We believe that you are a customer service champion and can develop and maintain senior stakeholder relationships. With your expertise you will focus on the bigger picture, enable our customers and proactively supporting their journey to standardized solutions with a focus on adopting, not adapting. Some travel will be necessary based on customer requirements.

What you will do as part of our Global Solution Architect Team:

Sales engagements

* Understands and can articulate business drivers for purchase of and deployment of Unit4 software including business case and benefit realization

* Work closely with our sales and service engagement team to ensure high quality engagements with our customers

* Build strong relationships with potential customers including 'C' level executives and create clear and accurate Statements of Work

Customer onboarding

* Support the sales handover and project onboarding for the wider project team

* Act as architectural/technical oversight and use this to support business change and business architecture design considering the customer application landscape

* Design quality ERP customer solutions that will meet strategic objectives focusing on reducing complexity and costs. In this process we expect you to prioritize requirements and identify opportunities for customer success

* Demonstrate leadership and being a trusted advisor to our customers bringing your experience of cloud industry good practice

* Work closely with the delivery teams to ensure projects meet design, schedule and budget as set out in the initial plan

* Support the Project Manager with risks, issues and change control as applicable

* Quality assure multiple concurrent ERP deployments working closely with project managers, consultants and partners

* Recognize colleagues' strengths and provide them with ongoing feedback, coaching and mentoring

Post go-live customer engagements

* Work with account managers post go live supporting customers realizing business case benefits and identifying new business opportunities

* Execute customer solution reviews and customer health checks identifying opportunities to expand Unit4 footprint

* Reactive support to customer issues and proactive support identifying long term solutions

Product enhancements and new technologies

* Stay relevant on new technologies, legislations and good practice, sharing this knowledge both internally and external

* Be a trusted member of internal product boards using your expertise to identify improvements to models and functionality

* Attend and present at industry conferences

* Maintain strong relationships and engage with internal stakeholders regarding the future direction of both Unit4 software and our implementation methodology
