We have a vacancy for a CNC Machine Operator for our Plympton based engineering client.
The successful candidate MUST have engineering experience OR as a minimum worked in a manufacturing environment.
The hours of work are 38 hours a week and you will be required to work an alternating day and late shift pattern.
The shift details are:
Day shift - 7am to 3:30pm Mon-Thur. 7am to 1pm Fri (No premium)
Late shift - 3:30pm to 1:30am Mon-Thur. (4 days) - (20% premium)
The Salary will be based on the skill level and experience of the successful candidate, but as a guide the starting rate will be around GBP9.25 p/hr and will increase to GBP9.50 p/hr after the initial 3 months trial period.
There will be the opportunity for overtime and overtime hours will be paid at time & half.
Our client offers 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and there is an additional benefit of a company pension scheme.
Our client does not pay sick pay, but operates SSP after the qualifying period
