Connect2Kent are looking for a part-time Data, Information and Social Media Officer for a temporary assignment with KCC working within the Information, Advice and Support Kent Team.
Purpose of the Job: To support the first point of contact for service users ensuring quality standards are met.
To undertake regular posting of information and news via social media, website and publications, suitable for different audiences.
Hours required - 29 per week. The hours can be flexible as some of the social media role can be done at different times of the day - negotiable.
Experience:
Office Administration and call handling and electronic communication
Experience of producing and updating written information
Experience of special educational needs and disabilities, either personal or in a volunteering/working capacity
Experience of posting to social media
Main duties and responsibilities:
Take calls as part of the triage system to ensure the service standards are met in relation to the provision of timely information, advice and support to families of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Research, analyse and produce accurate, current and relevant information, news and updates about SEND legislation, guidance and practice relating to education, health and social care.
Regular and timely posting of relevant information via social media
