We currently have an opportunity available for a Project Engineering Technician to join our team working in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time, 2 year fixed term contract basis, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

About the role of Project Engineering Technician:
You will support the delivery of the Sewage Pumping Station Operation and Maintenance Improvement Programme to ensure these assets operate within the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) and are resilient, reliable and resistant to failure.
Responsibilities as our Project Engineering Technician include:
- Working with Asset Management and Operational teams to deliver effective reliability centred planned maintenance schedules for Sewage Pumping Stations
- Working with the Lean RCM to increase energy production and ensure the assets on our AD Plants, CHPs and STCs remain reliably operational. The key drivers are to increase the productivity of our CHPs and reliability of our STC Assets and reduce STC asset downtime
- Supporting the business drive in an LRCM culture within WWS that improves performance and compliance in addition to prolonging the operational life of assets
- Supporting the effective delivery of and consolidation of information needed for SPS, including but not limited to Time to Consequence, Access to permit information, Population of the SPS Knowledge Base (With IS Support) and Pump specification data amongst others
- Supporting discussion with the supply chain regarding pump specification and identification of strategic spares
- Working with the Non-Infra Asset Management Lead and Operational Leadership team to shape investment programmes on SPS assets
- Ensuring compliance with all Company procedures within the Quality Management System
- Meeting the required Health and Safety approach and adherence to the HomeSafe principles in support of a positive Health and Safety culture
- Achieving the Company's Regulatory, Environment Agency Targets and Customer Service Standards
- Promoting Waste Water improvements to the WWS Leadership Group for inclusion in the Asset Management Programme, thereby maintaining the sustainability of the Waste Water assets
- Participation in appropriate Operational Standby Rotation as required
What we are looking for in our Project Engineering Technician:
- HNC/NVQ Level 4 in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- MEICA maintenance experience and background
- Experience of working in a MEICA operational environment
- Experience of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
