Outreach Teaching Assistant
We are working on behalf of an Oxfordshire based Outreach Foundation, who cater for complex mental health needs, Autism and students removed from mainstream education. The school is looking to appoint an Outreach Assistant with experience of working with pupils who struggle with varying special needs.
The successful candidate, will be required to work across Oxfordshire within several hubs and will be compensated for their travel costs. They will also need to have the ability to adapt to the needs of their learners and be comfortable with potential challenging behaviour.
The successful candidate must have;
* A minimum of a Level 3 qualification relevant to education
* Full UK driving licence with access to a car
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to complete a new application
* 1:1 SEND experience
* A passion for working with children and young people with SEND
