Technical Support Engineer (Telecoms Network Hardware)
Package circa GBP40k- GBP60k depending on experience
Plus on call allowance, plus car allowance,
Based on site in Reading & Slough
The Opportunity
This is your chance as a Technical Support Engineer to join our client who for the past 30 years have been protecting Mobile Telecoms Networks against cyber security threats.
You will get the chance to sit on site snd work closely with their global customers and ensure smooth and uninterrupted services by offering technical advice and solutions relating to their Network Security products.
This is a role for an ambitious candidate who is keen to build an exciting career in one of the hottest IT markets.
The role does require on call support via rota system, but is well compensated for and will offer you the chance to have a lucrative uplift on an already strong basis salary and car allowance

The Role
As the Technical Support Engineer, it will be your role to be the technical contact for their global telco operator clients.
You will use your experience to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted services by offering technical advice and solutions on business critical live system.
As well as having the technical skills, you will be dealing with system stakeholders at all levels of the business and able to explain with clarity and accuracy to both technical and non-technical audience
Your Background
We are looking to bring into the team someone who as a good technical understanding of IT & Telecoms Networks and IT security as well as strong communication skills.
The role requires on call, for which you will receive an on call allowance and also travel, for which you will receive a car allowance and expenses, so we will need you to be flexibile when it comes to both of these areas
UK Security Check (SC) clearance will be mandatory requirement for this position which you will have either have previously or will need to go through- please be aware of the steps required to pass UK SC.
