Our Client is a speciality Chemical Supplier. They currently have a vacancy for a Marketing Coordinator (& Sales Support) within their Industrial Chemicals Division. This position will be office based near Bracknell, Berkshire and is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Commercial Manager.

This position will suit a new Chemistry / Materials Science (or similar) Graduate who has a strong desire to use their chemistry in a marketing role

Job Purpose

* The primary function of the role is to work as the marketing coordinator of the Industrial Chemicals Division, liaising closely with Senior Marketing roles in other divisions of the company.

* The role requires someone who is comfortable in an active sales environment, ready to turn their hand to any aspect of working within a busy SME as required:

Key Responsibilities

Co-ordinate and implement marketing strategy

* Run product-based marketing campaigns across relevant media

* Co-ordinate all online marketing activity for the Industrial product range

* Generate technical content on Industrial product range

* Prepare Industrial marketing activity presentations for internal and external use

* Organise and coordinate external customer/principal events, which may involve overnight UK and European travel

* Liaise closely with other marketing roles within the company

* Report marketing activity and results to Industrial Sales Team

Additional Sales Support Activity

* Receive and progress customer enquiries (telephone & email / web) of a technical and commercial nature to the satisfaction of the customer and within a specified timescale.

* Confidently and proactively contact customers to provide technical/commercial information.

* Handle multiple enquiries and follow-ups at the same time, with differing timescales and resolutions.

* Act as a proactive source of information for the field sales team.

* Preparation of reports, presentations and figures for internal & external use.

* Maintain Customer Relationship Management database

Qualifications / Experience

Cultural fit for this role is essential: our Client is looking for a can-do person who is happy to get stuck in to get the job done, whether the task falls into sales, commercial, marketing, technical, business development, logistics, or regulatory. Full product and marketing skills training will be provided where necessary.

* Chemistry or Materials Science (or similar) graduate

* Knowledge and experience of digital marketing strategies is very desirable

* Technical experience of working within the Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Elastomers (CASE), Homecare Industrial & Institutional (HC, I&I), or plastics markets is very desirable

* Sales and commercial experience is desirable

* Friendly, efficient customer service attitude & phone manner

* Highly proficient at Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills

* The ability to listen and interpret customer needs

* Forward-thinking & proactive attitude to problem solving

* A social person who enjoys their job

In return our Client is offering a basic salary of GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 per annum (salary is dependent on relevant experience) plus benefits
