DRAINAGE/ SENIOR DRAINAGE ENGINEER - CONSULTANCY POSITION FOR A PROVIDER WITH A LARGE PRESENCE IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANCY SECTOR TO ASSIST WITH CLIENT PERMITTING PLANS.
TITLE: Drainage/ Senior Drainage Engineer - Consultancy
I am now recruiting on behalf of an established Environmental Consultancy company for an experienced Drainage/ Senior Drainage Engineer - Consultancy to undertake site planning for their clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, who are looking to bolster their consultancy offering and add to their current talent pool.
Package: Up to GBP35,000 for the Drainage Engineer and GBP45k for the Senior
plus mileage, pension, laptop, and mobile.
Location: Sheffield or Manchester

ROLE- Drainage/ Senior Drainage Engineer - Consultancy
Managing your own client list, you will carry out desk studies and client visits to conduct site planning. Using your technical knowledge to characterise run off and sewerage connections, you will undertake risk assessments and deliver commercially effective and sustainable solutions. You will keep up to date with all relevant legislation, government guidance and current research to comply with legislative, health and safety, risk assessment and liability issues. Working as part of a team, you will carry out site planing, site investigations and assessment work to provide solutions and drawings to support planning and permit applications. You will also ensure that company regulations are being adhered to during your visits and complete all paperwork as necessary.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Drainage/ Senior Drainage Engineer - Consultancy
You will have a relevant Environmental Science degree / Civil engineering degree
You will also have experience of liaising with the EA and have built a good working relationship with them.
You will possess fantastic written and verbal written communication skills.
A full UK driving licence is required and own transport for site visits due to the nature of the role.
You will be comfortable working independently to your own initiative and as part of a team.
