WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (40 hours per week)
We are currently recruiting for a beautiful hotel based in Milton Keynes who boasts 304 bedrooms, 17 conferences and events spaces, two public bar areas and two restaurants. They are now seeking an enthusiastic Conference and Events Sales Coordinator to join the team!
As the Conference and Events Sales Coordinator you will act as a primary point of contact for all external enquiries booking meeting or event space. To coordinate the final details for all conference events assigned in line brand standards and company policy and procedure.
Key duties (not full list):
To answer incoming enquiries via phone or email
To win business through effective pricing and quick responses to enquiries
To deal with clients who have various meeting and event requirements - this can come via various channels
To quote clients on their specific meeting or event needs, and answering any questions about the facilities/services of the hotel
To check availability on our in house booking system for incoming enquiries
To build rapport and manage client relationships both via email, telephone and face to face show rounds
To maximising revenue at all opportunities
To conduct general administrative duties using Microsoft office, internet explorer and the hotel property management system
What do you need?
A minimum of 1 years' experience working in a customer facing or sales role
Computer literate
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
