Our well established client are looking to recruit a Operations Manager based at their head office in Potters Bar, the company specialise in building maintenance and refurbishment works on commercial property throughout London, Herts and parts of the South East, and have an enviable list of blue chip clients and buildings.
The company view this role as important to it's continued, and future growth and development, it will be fastidious in the pursuit for a candidate that fulfils the requirements and shows excellence in all areas. This is not a 9 - 5 job and will involve a lot of hard work and determination.
Personal Specification:
The Ideal Candidate must have:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience of Health & Safety implementation.
- Competent knowledge of IT packages.
- Demonstrable organisational, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable customer service skills, and substantial people management skills.
- Ability to think on their feet.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the scheduling of work is correctly input onto our computer systems.
- Drive and produce improvements to the daily performance, giving technical support and guidance to the workforce and internal staff when required.
- Lead and motivate Team both directly employed and sub-contractors
- Manage the day to day workloads to ensure SLA's and KPI's are met, without drop in quality.
- Manage client relationships, striving to always exceed expectations.
- Updating any required reports and reporting to the Directors.
