REED are exclusively working with a fantastic company in Norwich, recruiting for the position of Operations Manager.

Permanent, part time position, working 3 days per week (potential flexibility on which days however a Monday will be included)

Within the role you will directly support the Managing Director with the day to day running of the business. This will include:


- Ensuring that new starters are inducted and all relevant paperwork is received/completed, including contracts, staff handbook, etc

- Processing all necessary HR documents to staff

- Making sure all HR policies are up to date and in place, and communicated to staff, enhancing and developing policies.

- Preparing rota's


- Strategic planning and marketing of the business

- Planning advertisements/advertorials in local prominent publications

- Proof reading

- Assisting with flow of product placement and finding opportunities for free placements

- Event/sale promotion planning with the team

Business Development

- Exploring new opportunities for PGI team

- Developing new contacts

- Attending networking events


- Keeping certificates up to date

- Ensuring Risk Assessments are completed in a timely fashion and signed off

- Ensuring that all inspections/maintenance agreements are up to date and completed in accordance with H&S requirements


- Providing reporting as required by the MD

- Contract renewals with utility providers, servicing engineers etc

- Producing sales reports/comparisons, overseeing year end stock take


- Online banking transactions

- Financial data entry including bank payments, credit card payments and expenses entered into Xero

- Monthly and Yearly reporting

- Annual review and purchasing of business insurance policies

- Annual Budgets

- Produce annual commission structure proposal to be agreed with MD

Salary of GBP15,000 - GBP21,000 dependant on experience (Full time equivalent salary of GBP25,000 - GBP35,000)

Existing relevant experience within Operations/Office Management

Experience across both smaller and larger organisations ideally

Personal skills and ability to work well with others, maintain a level of authority but remain approachable and welcoming

Strong problem solving

High levels of attention to detail and accuracy

Client relations skills and excellent communication
