Job Title: Credit Controller
Hours: 39.5 hours
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Department: Finance (Office based)
Salary:GBP20,000- GBP22,500
Job Description:
Your responsibilities will be:
- Cash receipt allocations and banking
- Chasing of Debts via phone/email
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Resolving customer queries
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
- Running Debtor reports including monthly statements
- Placing customers on hold for non payment
- Taking court action where applicable
- Maintaining customer records/credit limits/setting up new accounts
- Occasional reception desk cover
- Any other ad hoc duties
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Credit Control experience
- An aptitude to communicate effectively across all levels and functions in the business
- Good time management skills
- Ability to prioritise
- High attention to detail
- A team player, willing to help others
- Computer Skills, in particular Microsoft Office
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure
