Premium Credit is one of the leading insurance premium finance companies in the UK and Ireland. We are currently looking for an Accounts Administrator to join us in Leatherhead.

While our offices are based in Leatherhead, we are currently operating on a work from home basis.

The Role

As an Accounts Administrator, you will assist the Accounting Operations Team in administering the receipts and payment function for the division.

You will reconcile bank accounts and system ledgers in collaboration with the Finance Department and respond to telephone and email queries in an efficient, timely manner.

Additionally, you will:

- Ensure all payments received are accurately allocated within 24 hours of receipt
- Ensure all refunds and funding payments accurately posted and uploaded
- Meet all processing and accuracy targets
- Mentor colleagues on tasks (once fully trained)
- Highlight issues and escalate appropriately
- Attend and complete any mandatory compliance training

About You

To join us as an Accounts Administrator, you will need:

- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent numeric and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- To be self-motivated team player with good interpersonal skills
- The ability to remain calm under pressure

A corporate and/or financial background would be desirable. Knowledge of accounting would be beneficial to your application, as would experience in data entry. Intermediate MS Office skills would also be advantageous.
