Cathedral Appointments are looking to recruit for this great opportunity. The role will be within client services and it will require knowledge and experience of working in the wider banking/investment/financial administration arena.

To work proactively supporting the client services team in delivering a personalised and high quality service to all clients. The role includes, supporting the client relationship managers to ensure that client queries and requests are handled accurately, efficiently and promptly.

Responsibilities:

  • Client on-boarding - Ensuring that the correct documentation is provided to/received from clients, establish entity/client records and portfolios on all systems. Carry out anti-money laundering checks in line with current UK legislation
  • Fund allocation and daily trades - essentially a middle office role
  • Data Retention - Accurately inputting and updating client data across all systems
  • Transfers - Ensure that the correct documents are received and forwarded to relevant third parties
  • Processing instructions - Process instructions received from clients quickly and efficiently
  • Taking incoming and making outbound calls to clients and third parties
  • Ongoing Client Relationship - Supporting the client relations team in maintaining a strong relationship with the client and dealing with client queries
  • CPD - Maintain an appropriate level of understanding of the rules/legislation surrounding products and services such as CGT, ISAs, SIPPs, Trusts, GDPR
  • Generating valuations, account statements and performance data on client request
  • Arranging for sensitive information to be sent securely via electronic medium
  • Collation and despatch of large scale mailings

Requirements:

  • A professional manner, motivated, proactive and the ability to learn quickly in order to support the busy teams
  • Study support towards CISI exam route as this is an opportunity to grow within the business
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook
  • High levels of accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills - both oral and written
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work within restricted timescales
  • Ability to work on own initiative but also be a strong team player
  • A positive 'can do' attitude
