Our client is a fast growing global medical device and diagnostics manufacturer that drives innovation in diagnostics to create better outcomes for patients.
They produce electro-mechanical products some of which are software enabled.
They are looking for a product Reliability Manager who will develop and implement the strategy and processes used to perform reliability and product/medical device life-cycle testing of the product line.
The Reliability Manager will evaluate areas and subcomponents that show potential signs of failure prior to the desired life of the product, determine root causes via analysis and work with Research & Development (R&D) and Product Management on corrective actions.
In addition, the Reliability Manager will influence new product development with findings.
Role:
Set up a Reliability lab from scratch
Analyse failures
Develop protocols to identify root causes
Establish testing to predict mean time to failure of instruments and key subcomponents
Utilise complaints data to confirm accuracy of the predicted mean time to failure.
Work with Quality, R&D and Product management to resolve reliability issues and monitor resulting corrective actions
Product reliability and testing and analysing of data preferredEducation/Experience:
Ideally qualifications in line with the role either vocational or academic
Experience working in either medical devices or a regulated manufacturing sectors e.g. automotive, aerospace etc.
