A high-end national firm with an exceptional reputation in Birmingham is looking for an experienced legal assistant to join a busy Residential Conveyancing Team. Working as part of a well-established team, you will be responsible for the provision of first-class support service across a range of tasks. You will be required to carry out the following:
* Preparing of conveyancing documents
* Utilising the Land Registry to prepare for the registration of properties
* Liaising with clients
* Coordination of finance administration including payment requisitions, account reconciliation and billing
* Expert production of documents, notes and attendance notes
* Opening and closing of client files through efficient use of case management systems
* Management of post, both incoming and outgoing
* Professional communication and liaison with clients and suppliers on a regular basis
* Diary management, booking meetings, travel arrangements, telephone management
This will be a highly varied role in which you will be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of a professional support role in a legal capacity and you must have prior legal office based experience. This is a full-time permanent position in Birmingham City Centre with a mixture between home and office working.
