If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our client as a Chef De Partie on a 12 Month FTC!
Food is a key part of the working day at our client site in the heart of Bournemouth & it's a hot topic of conversation. The Bistro team play a big part in the wellbeing of all colleagues which is evident when you see the amazing facilities & quirky environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
Preparing meat and fish
Assisting with the management of health and safety
Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
Monitoring portion and waste control
Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
About you
To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for the following:
Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards
Awareness of manual handling techniques
Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
Experience of kitchen equipment
Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
Understandable level of English spoken and written
