Electrical Maintenance Technician
JT Recruit are currently looking for two full-time permanent vacancies have arisen within our clients Maintenance Department. Working Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm.
Primary Purpose of Position
* To support the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Maintenance Department.
* Inspection, validation, testing and maintenance of electrical systems.
* Electrical repair and maintenance to the buildings and electrical infrastructures.
* To carry out duties in accordance with regulations as stipulated by statutory bodies e.g. Health & Safety Executive and internal procedures.
* To work with minimal supervision.
* To maintain a flexible approach to duties and responsibilities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* To carry out inspection, testing and repairs to electrical installations as required in accordance with the current Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) database.
* To carry out preventative maintenance procedure as required in accordance with the TPM database.
* To carry out electrical repairs/installations as required to your degree of competency.
* Repair, validate and maintenance of the buildings and electrical infrastructures.
* To undertake or train towards Portable Appliance Testing, in accordance with the current TPM database.
Minimum level of education which the job requires.
* City & Guilds BS7671, 18th edition - level 3 IET Wiring Regulations.
* City & Guilds 2365 Level 1, 2 & 3 Diploma or equivalent in Electrical installation.
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing desirable.
* Commercial/Industrial experience desirable.
* Health, Safety & Environmental knowledge.
* Full driving licence essential.
