As an Agile MI Delivery Manager, you will bring your experience of leading an MI Delivery team to ensure that high-quality software solutions are delivered as part of a large Transformation programme. The main focus of the role involves taking responsibility for the delivery of functionality
Delivery Manager - MI, Agile Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead an MI delivery team in ensuring that solution development is delivered in an effective manner
- Define, design, shape and agree the MI roadmap to meet internal and external needs
- Deliver a range of MI solutions aligned with delivery dates to the business and stakeholders
- Own the planning and delivery phases on Agile MI projects, with a focus on outcomes and delivering against the product roadmap
- Organise and conduct daily stand-ups, progress reviews and planning meetings and managing estimations and task allocation in the team
Delivery Manager - MI, Agile Skills and Experience:
- Substantial experience in a Delivery Manager role within an Agile environment
- In-depth expertise in delivering industry-leading MI/ BI and visualisation solutions within a SQL Server environment (Microsoft BI stack, Power BI, DAX)
- Experience developing an MI/ BI roadmap and in leading teams to deliver against this
- The ability to remove blockers and adopt a Delivery mindset, with a focus on outcomes.
- Excellent time management and resource planning skills
This is very much an ownership and leadership role which will involve building and managing robust relationships with 3rd parties and internal stakeholders so your communication skills should be excellent. A thorough knowledge of best practice on Agile software development projects and how to embed it, would be ideal.
