This is a Temporary ongoing position until at least the end of August.

Candidates MUST be flexible to work across all three shift patterns below:

Days: Mon to Thurs 7.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. Friday 7.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. GBP11.38ph.

Twilights: Mon to Thurs 4.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. Friday 12.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. GBP15.81ph.

Nights: Mon to Thurs 9:30pm - 7am. GBP15.16ph.

You will be expected to achieve high standards of quality, in line with targeted levels of output whilst working safely and maintaining full product traceability. You will be working as part of a team and you are expected to contribute to improving any working processes.

The main tasks of the role are outlined below:

* Manually handle weights in accordance with manual handling training.

* Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

* Contribute to continuous improvement.

* Complete quality documentation.

You will work across the following areas:

* Machine Shop - Load materials onto CNC machine, carry out machining of components, working using cutting fluids & may have contact with small amounts of grinding dust containing stainless steel.

* Saw - Sets up and operates power saws (Kasto, Behringer) to cut, slot, groove, miter, and trim metallic and nonmetallic components according to specifications, selects and installs blade on machine, using hand tools, sets controls to adjust speed, feed rate, and blade tensions.

* Finishing - Inspect components after deburr to ensure they are completed to specifications, using hand fettling/grinding tools and fixed belt grinders, loading components onto an automatic acid-dip plant (nitrile rubber gloves must be used), using drilling/tapping equipment, using shot blasting machinery, wet work and the possibility of working with acids.

* Fabrication - Use of hand fettling/grinding tools, read and complete tasks to meet technical drawings, work with, and understand weld symbols.

* Press Shop - Load and operate press machinery in an ear protection zone, understand how progression tools work
