This is a 1 year FTC maternity cover role for a HR Manager. Throle based half in the office in Reigate and half at home will manage the day to day Human Resources operations, providing HR and employee relations, advice, expertise and guidance delivering a comprehensive HR service to the operational teams. Working closely with the HR Director to support the implementation of the business strategy and the HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance and adherence from the staff. The HR Manager will manage oversee the HR team, which includes recruitment and payroll.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the operational day to day HR function to deliver a best practice HR service to the business
* Ensuring all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Providing expertise and guidance to the managers to ensure operational compliance
* Working with the stakeholders to coach and advise on all people issues
* Deal with all levels of disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR knowledge to support the operational teams on appropriate decision making
* Manage all ER processes, including support on managing absence, grievances and sickness
* Working closely with the Recruitment Team to manage the recruitment of staff, managing the recruitment agencies and ensuring the right staff are in the right place at the right time.
* Where necessary work with the HR Director on change management and re-structuring and new company integration programmes
* Provide pay and benefits advice and supporting employees on company benefits, ensuring equal pay and benefits is audited and managed effectively
* Develop the staffing structures framework and training requirements as agreed with the operational teams.
* Where necessary support the HR Director on Strategic projects and people resourcing across the organisation.
* Ensure excellence and best practice implementation of facilitation and counsel staff in ER issues
This role would suit a HR Generalist with experience at a HR Business Partner (HRBP) / HR Manager level with HR team leadership experience and a breadth of Employment Law knowledge
