Invoice Assistant

Our Finance Team are looking for an additional Applications Assistant to help ensure that applications for payment (against work done by the Company) are raised at the earliest possible time, accurately and in line with agreed timelines.

This is an 18 month contract to cover MAT Leave. You will be working from home for the majority of the time with occasional, pre-arranged days in our offices in Lancing.

What you will be doing:

Raising applications for payment on a timely basis in accordance with the agreed format of specified accounts so that claims can be pursued at the earliest possible moment.

Checking backing documentation is applied to invoices.

Raising manual invoices and credit notes.

Ensuring all monthly application deadlines are met.

Liaising with relevant departments regarding issues preventing applications from being raised and resolving in a timely manner to prevent delay in invoicing.

Weekly post duties, Customer care invoicing and other ad hoc duties as required by the Credit Manager.

The Person:

We are looking for a numerate individual with great attention to detail and the ability to forge good working relationships with both internal and external customers to proactively meet deadlines.
