On-Site Calibration Engineer

Full Time, Permanent

Portchester based - Covering UK & Ireland (some overnight stays)

Salary Negotiable based on Experience

Based in Porchester, Fareham the Calibration company currently require an experienced field-based Calibration Engineer to perform calibrations at customer sites.

About the On Site Calibration Engineer role:

Ideally the candidate will be familiar with calibration of measurement disciplines and process related equipment.

Experience is required of calibrating (preferably to UKAS standards) temperature, humidity, pressure and electrical instrumentation, such as:

  • Environmental enclosures (humidity & temperature)
  • Ovens
  • Freezers
  • Incubators
  • Pressure gauges and temperature gauges
  • Washers/dryers
  • 4-20mA transmitters
  • Chart recorders
  • Temperature & humidity sensors
  • Autoclaves
  • Thermocouples and PRT's.

About the Successful On Site Calibration Engineer Candidate:

The successful candidate will need to be able to work on their own initiative and be able to devise test methods and plan workload 'on the job'.

This position requires a full driving licence and will require the successful candidate to drive to locations throughout the UK and Ireland with overnight stays.
