We also partner with ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) to provide additional services and products that help businesses unlock vital cash flow, drive additional revenue streams, and bring them technologies that support their business ambitions.

About the Role

As a Business Development Advisor your job will be to cold call potential customers from our internal database advising them of our services in order to book appointments for our field-based representatives (BDM) to visit. You will be required to manage the BDM's diary, booking appointments in close proximity geographically to allow the BDM the required time between appointments. You will be required to qualify the details making sure that the customer is either not in contract with another provider or is within 3 months of the end of their contract and find out who their current provider is. You will also be required to build, cleanse and enhance existing data to make sure all records are relevant and up to date with details.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully generate qualified appointments for field sales agents (BDM's)
  • Following up on internal and external leads to move them from enquiry to appointment.
  • Working towards set KPI's including:

o APD (Appointments per day)

o Productivity

o Appointment to sales conversion

o Revenue generation

  • Updating of CRM system - ensuring all customer records are kept up to date accurately
  • Comply with company policies and FCA regulatory guideline
  • Provide first class customer service to potential new customers and portray the company in a positive manner at all times.
  • General sales admin tasks
  • Competitor analysis

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven sales experience within a target driven environment
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow ensuring financial sales objectives are delivered /achieved
  • Demonstrate the ability to consistently work towards and exceed expectations/ targets
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage business owners and colleagues
  • Ability to use own initiative to manage own performance
  • Ability to understand productivity KPI's and adhere to them
  • Ability to work independently within a team

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.45am until 5.15pm and Friday 8.45am until 4pm with scheduled breaks and lunches.
