Mobile Cleaning Operative
Job Title: Mobile Cleaning Operative (3 Month Contract)
Location: B70 - Sandwell (Kenrick Park Estate)
Salary: GBP9.43 p/h
Working Week: 37 Hours
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council are looking for a Mobile Cleaning Operative to be part of a Borough-wide Cleaning Service, providing a variety of cleaning tasks to communal areas within High and Low Rise blocks of flats, Sheltered Housing schemes and employee welfare facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Internal and external cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, internal and external sweeping, buffing, wiping down walls/windows/entry and internal doors etc.
* To undertake training to enable the safe use of equipment, chemicals and company vehicles.
* To undertake daily monitoring of stock and equipment within the company vehicle to ensure that tasks can be adequately undertaken.
* To be responsible for the unlocking/locking of buildings as required.
* To complete signing in/out books, time sheets, tick sheets, job sheets, vehicle log sheets etc accurately and by the appropriate deadlines.
Skills & Experience
* Must be able to drive.
* Must be able to comply with Health and Safety legislation, including COSHH regulations.
* Must work in line with the Council's policy on equality and the Equality Act 2010.
* Must be professional and ensure confidentiality at all times.
