Due to the internal promotion of our current HR Manager, we are now beginning our search to recruit to this essential role as soon as possible.

What will I be responsible for?

Reporting directly to the Business Support Director you will form part of the Business Support Management Team and will take responsibility for:

  • HR Strategy and Operations, working alongside the Business Support Director and her Management Team.
  • Managing the HR and H&S team ensuring their wellbeing and continuous development.
  • Leading and Managing Employee Relations including grievances, disciplinaries and sickness absence management in line with company policy as well as guiding and coaching managers on performance management techniques.
  • Health and Safety lead for the company.
  • Employee Compliance.
  • Working alongside the Training and Onboarding Manager to ensure we recruit and retain the best.
  • Workforce and Succession Planning.
  • Performance Management.
  • Employee Benefits.
  • People processes.
  • HR Policy Creation and Review ensuring equality and inclusion.
  • Management of the Apprenticeship Levy.
  • Developing and improving staff engagement.
  • Workforce Health and Wellbeing, create, implement, lead and monitor the Company's vision and plan for Wellbeing in the workplace.

We are looking for an individual who is a strong HR professional who is passionate, organised and driven. You will need to have a strong HR Generalist background and be able to flourish within an extremely busy environment.

Could this be the ideal role for me?

As our ideal HR Manager, you will have an impressive background in HR Management, be Level 5 HR Qualified as a minimum and be a true HR Generalist who is adept at working both strategically and operationally.

You will be able to demonstrate a broad generalist HR Management background either in a HR Manager, Regional HR Manager or HR Business Partner role. You will be able to show how you have partnered with senior teams and implemented HR initiatives that have had real value. This is a great opportunity for you to make an impact and really influence the management teams with the right commercial HR approach.

You will also require:

  • Confidence, strong planning and organisational skills.
  • The knowledge and ability to provide meaningful HR analytics.
  • Be able to effectively prioritise workloads and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Have the ability to support managers with all aspects of succession planning, workforce planning and recruitment to support the business's growth and expansion strategy.
  • The knowledge and ability to take on projects to support the business's strategic growth plans and support the business with change management.
  • The ability and passion to maintain high levels of HR visibility to encourage a supportive HR culture and approachability.
  • The ability and experience to coach and advise, to anticipate and pre-empt people issues.
  • The knowledge and experience to provide end to end HR advise to all staff members.
