An exciting position has become available for a full-time Trainee Purchase Ledger based in Blackburn. The successful candidate will earn GBP17,000 Per Annum.

This role will be split with half of the time spent on managing the Purchase Ledger side of the department and then the remainder of the time will be spent on data uploading.

Role Requirements

• Willing to learn and has a keen interest in developing a career within Finance and/or Business admin.
• An accounts background is not essential however an interest of progressing within an accounts department and an interest in business admin would be preferred.
• This role would be ideal for a candidate who is interested in developing themselves within a workplace environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Coding, matching & inputting supplier invoices
• Purchase invoice queries
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Reconciling transport summaries ensuring that all paperwork for proof of delivery is obtained & that the correct prices have been charged
• Raising purchase orders as and when required
• Maintaining historical records
• Data upload of POD's primarily and any other correspondence relating
• Monthly purchase order maintenance
• Taking telephone calls
• Assisting the department with any requirements
