MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
GBP14.79 p/h rotating shift on a weekly basis AM/PM
* Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.
* Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
* Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
* Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
* Conduct risk assessment, audits and enforce preventative measures.
* Provide MHE training to the required standard as detailed by accrediting bodies, corporate directives and best practice
* Ensure training, test and certification documentation is completed, issued and electronically maintained.
* Maintain a high level of subject matter knowledge.
* Develop behavioral observation tools and techniques to encourage a positive safety culture throughout the site.
* Challenge and highlight instances of poor MHE driving to individuals and management.
* Ensure MHE fleet is maintained and fully optimised to world class standards and in accordance with any service level agreements.
* Coordinate the schedules, inspections and remedial repairs of all storage equipment and racking.
* Support and attend relevant meetings and or working groups as required by the role.
* Lead by example when operating and assess and auditing MHE to world class standards
Key Skills
Preferred
* Minimum 3 years in JIT environment.
* Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
* Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
