Our Wallingford client is recruiting an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Communication Website Manager.

This role will be an office based role, so please make sure you are able to get into Wallingford easily.

This role will be overseeing functionality and managing website performance, facilitating hosting and server management, and maintaining and updating website content.

Duties include:

Working with the Corporate Digital Communications Manager ensuring suitability of platform for future developments, page updates and site optimisation.
Supports the Investors Relations Director in the publication process of investor relations materials.
Collaborates with Workday Program Manager to maintain and develop fit for purpose integration between recruitment platform and website
Works with the team and Strategic Sales and Marketing on the integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with the website
Liaising with IT to ensure infrastructure best practice and adherence to Information Security requirements.
Manages upload of website content - including oversight of documents, creation of new pages, press releases etc.
Manages website user and workflow management.
Ensures that the website meets the requirements of the business
Improves the user experience, drives ongoing optimisation and ensures digital marketing best practises are followed
Responds to and troubleshoots all website issues
Research web trends for fresh, new, and innovative ideas.
Minimises risk by ensuring that the website has appropriate Information Security measures in place, adheres to the Global Information Security Management System and monitors compliance
Ensures website quality and efficiency by conducting regular tests
Implementation of new functional change requests and upload of new content. Regular monitoring and reporting on web traffic metricsThe Person

A background in Information Technology, Web Design or a related field is preferred
Candidate must have experience in website management and product delivery.
Experienced with web measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and W3C web standards.
Experienced with content management systems - ideally enterprise level.
Good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
Communicates well and is able to communicate across functions
