Stores Manager of our parts department.
Permanent position with 6 months' probation period.
Based: Addlestone, Surrey.
Salary GBP25,000.00 - GBP28,000.00PA (gross) depending on previous experience.
Full time core hours 8.00am-6.00pm with an element of flexible working at times.
ABOUT US:
A highly successful facilities company, based in Addlestone, Surrey.
THE ROLE:
You will be running our parts department which services our differnent departments on site as well as some sales to external customers. The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and have at least 12 months' experience.
Key tasks will include:
* Stock control and record keeping.
* Maintaining and monitoring stock levels.
* Sourcing competitive prices from suppliers.
* Keeping a clean and tidy workplace and warehouse.
* Adhering to all Health and Safety requirements.
* Preparing orders of supplies in advance for our Productions.
* Customer service.
* Manual handling.
* Other Ad Hoc Duties.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Successful candidates will have at least 12 months' experience in a similar role.
* You must possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
* You must be highly computer literate, especially with Word, Excel and preferably with Sage 50.
* You must be capable of multi-tasking reliably in a busy office environment.
* Have the desire to learn and develop your skills.
* You must have a completely Pro-active approach to work.
* Someone who can embrace and support fully changes to the work place.
* Ideally be able to hit the ground running.
* Be someone who is able to be assertive and manage a situation.
