* This is a Kickstart government backed vacancy.

* You must currently be in receipt of Universal Credit.

* You must be aged 18 - 24.

* Initially 25 hours weekly but could increase to 40.

* Based in Bishopston, Bristol.

Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator. Previous experience is not essential but an enthusiastic approach and nature would make the transition into the recruitment sector more likely to be successful. There is a very strong possibility that at the end of the Kickstart scheme an extension to the role would be available.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop a career within an established company that operates in the Construction, Plant and Civil sectors.

The desire to learn and a positive attitude are vital for this role.

With the support of the existing Sales Support Administrator, the Branch Manager and his Sales Team, you will be tasked with:-

* Helping to maintain a busy temporary recruitment desk in the Construction, Freelance and Plant & Civil sectors.

* Sourcing suitably qualified candidates for temporary vacancies in Bristol and the South West

* Being proactive in finding these available candidates in the specialist Construction, Plant and Civil sector through various forms of advertising, emails, social media and the telephone.

* Developing and maintaining candidate database.

* Assisting with all administration duties associated with supporting a busy recruitment desk including but not limited to registering new candidates, assisting with payroll, sending out contracts and collating time sheets.

* Confirming Right to Work of all candidates

* Ensuring all required documents such as qualifications and certificates are held on file for all workers.

Skills Required

* You will need an effective and well organised and methodical approach

* An ability to speak confidently on the telephone

* Ability to work on an individual basis and as part of the team.

* IT literate to a good level including the use of Excel, Word and Outlook

* High and accurate attention to detail

* A basic knowledge of all round administration and database skills would be beneficial.

* A basic qualification in English and Maths is desirable.
