Kitchen Assistant
Yellow 42 are working on behalf of a hotel in Edinburgh. The Kitchen Assistant role will help support the kitchen porters as well as the basic food preparation duties. If you are interested in the Kitchen Assistant position we would like to hear from you.
The Job
The main responsibilities in this role are to ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy while supporting the chef team with basic duties. The Kitchen Assistant will be able to work on their own unsupervised when needed. The role is based on a 3 or 4-day working week. The shifts range from 10am to 8pm and 5pm to 10pm and pays GBP12ph.
The Person
The ideal candidate for the Kitchen Assistant role will have experience working in a professional kitchen environment. You will have excellent organisational skills, impeccable timekeeping and have the ability to work well as part of a team.
The Rewards
A competitive hourly rate of GBP12ph is on offer for the Kitchen Assistant role with Holiday pay.
