Marketing Administrator - Part Time (25 hours per week) required for a company who are global specialists in the sale of Scientific Equipment and Advanced Materials, working with and selling to Universities, Research Institutes, Design Engineers, Manufacturers, Academic & Commercial Research and Development Co's, End Users and other similar types of customer.

Due to continued year on year growth we're recruiting for an additional member of our Marketing Team. We are a friendly, hard-working team who are passionate about providing an excellent standard of customer service and developing new business.

Job Title: Marketing Administrator - Part Time

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 9.15 am - 2.15 pm

Part Time- 25 hours per week. The position is initially a 12 month contract however there may be potential for future employment at end of 12 months.

Some flexibility on home working / office working

Package: Basic salary circa GBP9000 - GBP12000, dependent on experience + benefits per annum based on 25 hours per week.

Based in Tamworth, however some flexibility on a mixture of office working and working from home.

Product: Scientific Equipment and Advanced Materials.

Job description: Marketing Administrator

As Marketing Administrator, you will provide administrative support primarily to our Marketing team. You will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks predominantly using Microsoft packages and SageCRM and work closely with our existing Marketing Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and upload customer feedback from marketing activities.
  • Prepare mail-shot packs.
  • Complete marketing activity tracking process and assist in providing reports on marketing activity.
  • Prepare draft marketing materials.
  • Monitor research paper publishing and alert Sales Team to acknowledgements.
  • Complete marketing research tasks.
  • Maintain customer data across Company systems eg. post marketing activities,
  • lapsed customer, unsubscribe requests, audits etc.
  • Provide support with event/ exhibition planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation.
  • Set up new marketing supplier records, maintain existing records, file communications.
  • Support the Marketing Executive to ensure all daily administration tasks are completed in line with Company standards.
  • Monitor emails during staff absence.
  • Receptionist duties, including answering the telephone, greeting visitors, and providing refreshments.
  • Provide cover for other members of the administration team when absent.
  • Working with colleagues to ensure all sales and marketing activities are completed on time.
  • Participate in the review of the Marketing Department including the review of processes and procedures.

Person Specification:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter, with a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience of working within marketing administration would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Experience:

Administration: 1 years (Preferably within a marketing environment)
