ASSISTANT MANAGER - PUB WITH 12 BOUTIQUE BEDROOMS - PART OF ESTABLISHED GROUP - CURRENT TURNOVER OF GBP45,000+ PW - BASED NEAR LYMINGTON

Leisure Solutions are specialists within the Leisure and Hospitality sectors, recruiting for a wide variety of roles at Operational and Head Office level. We are currently helping with the recruitment of an Assistant Manager for this busy, premium end boutique hotel / food-led pub venue.

The Company / Site

This group consists of approximately 15 premium venues offering high quality, fresh food and premium drinks, wines and cocktails. Owned by a brewery, these venues have been highly successful and the company continues to grow and expand their estate, with further developments in line over the coming months.

We are assisting with the recruitment of one of their key venues based in the New Forest, near Lymington, easily commutable from both Bournemouth and Southampton.

Since reopening the venue in April, the business has seen unprecedented growth, with a high level of demand leading to the growth and expansion of the team. The venue has exceeded budget expectations and its popularity with both locals and visitors has led to the opportunity of adding another Assistant Manager to their team.

The Role

The Assistant Manager role is key to the development and growth of the business with the opportunity for advancement and growth to a General Manager position. This company are looking to recruit someone who can support the General Manager and take ownership of the venue in their absence. You will:

* Assisting with the day to day management of this venue, forming part of the on-site management team

* Provide leadership and support the business, ensuring that you and your team provide the highest level of service to their guests

* Assist with the recruitment, training and development of your team members

* Follow company guidelines and ensure that the quality level of service and guest experience exceeds expectations

* Assist the General Manager and carry out any additional requirements requested by the business

In return for your service

Ideally having gained some supervisory experience within a similar pub or hotel environment, you will be able to demonstrate your leadership and development skills. You will:

* Have experience in leading a team

* Have excellent communication skills

* Ideally come from a food focussed environment

In return the company are offering a permanent position with a competitive salary circa GBP27,000, as well as:

This is a live-out position, you would therefore need to be able to commute.
