Care Assistant
Due to the increase in occupancy, Trinity House Care Home is looking to source Care Assistants, for day and nightshifts, on a permanent basis.
We have created a fantastic atmosphere within our home, which is full of life and fun. It's a professional yet relaxed working environment, where the people are at the heart of everything we do.
As Care Assistant, you will be responsible in providing personal care for the residents, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You'll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors.
Contract
* GBP9.30 per hour
* Contributory pension
* 5.6 weeks holiday
* Free parking
* Uniform provided
Criteria
* Ideally, we are looking for any prospective applicants to have worked as a Care Assistant in the past - Minimum of 1 years' experience
* An SVQ in care would be advantageous but not necessary
* A genuine interest working with the elderly is essential
* Able to communicate effectively
You must either be, or be willing to become, a member of the Disclosure Scotland PVG scheme.
