We are looking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic Bar Manager who will also assist the General Manager with a range of duties.
You will be responsible for running the bar, which provides teas, coffees and snacks as well as alcoholic and soft drinks. In addition to providing friendly and efficient customer service on the bar, you will deal with purchasing, and general maintenance of the bar service to a high standard.
In addition, you will support the General Manager with administrative duties, such as scheduling exercise classes, maintaining the club's social media profile and managing the club's online court bookings system.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of bar work, including changing barrels, cleaning beer lines etc.
- Good IT skills
- An interest in social media
- Good communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- A friendly and flexible approach to working with customers
Hours of work
Sunday 2pm-7.30pm, Monday-Thursday 4pm-11pm
Rate of Pay
GBP10 p/h. 33.5 hours per week.
21 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays and days at Christmas and New Year (pro rata)
