Warehouse Operative Chilled Environment

Salary:
Base rate from GBP9.65 per hour to GBP12.06 per hour

Shifts / Hours: 7am - 7pm / 7pm to 7am 4 days on 4 days off

Quest in partnership with our client based in Alconbury near Huntingdon are searching for Warehouse Operatives who are hardworking, ambitious, driven, flexible and have a good eye for detail. The role will be based within a busy chilled site (5??c) working with fresh fruit and vegetable products.

Your role may include:
• Working within the loading bay and warehouse area, unloading, loading
• Packing orders for dispatch to stores & customers
• Picking and scanning pallets and items into the correct locations with RFID scanners
• General warehouse & housekeeping duties
• Being identified for upskilled roles

You will be required to adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards and consistently achieve performance standards.
The role involves the following physical requirements daily:
• Standing or walking for long periods of 12 hours
• Lifting and moving products up to 15kg
• Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, crouching and/or stretching
• Pushing and pulling pallets using pump trucks
• Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
