Location: Various C&C sites including London Waterloo and working remotely

 

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (pro-rata 3 days per week)

Your Role

 

This new role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for fundraising. Our Fundraising Officer will drive our income generation activity so that we can continue supporting residents living across our housing and care provisions, our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of fundraising within corporate sponsorship or community group fundraising.

 

Reporting to the Engagement Manager, you will work with and support a highly skilled Marketing and Engagement team to help us reach our annual fundraising targets. You’ll need to be ambitious and proactive, enjoy building strong, impactful relationships and thrives in a fast moving, multi-tasking environment. We need someone who can work effectively with multiple teams both internally and externally and who is able to understand the motivations of sponsors who engage with us.

 

The role is a varied one and the post-holder should be willing and able to multi-task, completing a wide range of duties. The role will initially start working toward our 2021 Care Home fundraising target whilst looking for opportunities to expand our fundraising commitment.

 

Key responsibilities

 

- Project lead and implement C&C fundraising campaigns from concept through to evaluation

- Identify and research potential funding opportunities including writing and developing compelling cases of support for grant proposals from existing and new funding sources

- Develop new partnerships including engaging with companies to support them to meet their CSR goals, providing them opportunities to sponsor or volunteer within our events

- Maintain existing relationships through written, telephone and face to face communications

- Maintain a database for fundraising, donors and supporters, regularly updating with a high level of accuracy

- With the Engagement Manager, create and deliver effective fundraising communications

- Support the Engagement team with co-ordinating and running events as required

- Any other duties which reasonably fall within the range and responsibilities of this post, as requested by a member of the management team
