Example shifts:  

Morning: 6am - 2pm (Monday - Friday) Afternoon: 1.30pm - 9.30pm (Monday - Thursday) and 11am-7pm (Friday) 

Salary: £17,143 - £19,408 per annum 

Campus: City Centre, Bath and Somer Valley, Radstock 

 

Bath College is looking to recruit a Security Assistant to work as part of our in-house Security team, helping to provide a safe and secure working and learning environment for staff, students and visitors.

This role is varied, and no one day is the same. Duties will include: 

  • Site patrols 

  • Dealing with staff, students and visitors 

  • Fire alarm testing 

  • Car parking duties 

  • Managing queries, situations or unforeseen circumstances and facilities issues. 

 

The successful candidate will be comfortable and confident in?dealing?with people and should enjoy a variety of tasks. Team working is key in ensuring that the department runs smoothly and effectively. 

Although this role is principally responsible for security the team are also trained and support?fire marshaling, first aid for staff and students, evacchair evacuation, and safeguarding,therefore this role could give you the opportunity to widen and develop your skills and experience.
