Here is some more helpful information: Salary: GBP9.20 up to GBP12.33 per hour including night shift and freezer premium, and average incentive pay. Overtime up to 1.5 x basic rate Breakdown: Starting rate - GBP9.20 per hourNight shift premium (between the hours of 10pm and 6am) - plus GBP1.53 per hourPerformance based incentives (average) - plus GBP0.80 per hourFreezer premium for all hours worked - plus GBP0.80 per hourOvertime paid at basic x 1.25 or 1.5 So once you've joined, what will you be doing? You will be part of our team of warehouse operatives, our despatch warehouse operatives play a critical part of Ocado and are making a real difference to the lives of our customers every day.You'll be working within an extremely safe & clean, fast-paced, high-tech warehouse environment. Inbound: Receiving goods from suppliers and decanting the products into totes. It's important you know that you will be required to go in and out of the freezer from time to time with this role (temperatures below -25??? ) which is quite chilly! But don't worry, we will give you the protective uniform you need, designed for such an environment when you do need to do this. Here is some more helpful information: All areas of the warehouse (except the freezer) have both ambient and chill (0 to 5???) sections and you will be expected to work in both areas.The role of a warehouse operative requires you to be on your feet and mobile at all times as well as carrying out repetitive tasks and potentially lifting up to 25kg weights and moving up to 70kg trolleys.We will provide you with the correct PPE.All roles within the warehouse will require you to handle meat and alcohol. What shifts can you choose from? Days Shift - 08:00 to 19:00 | Nights Shift - 19:00 to 06:00You will be working any 4 days from 7, which will include working weekends.(When the business requires it, your rostered shifts will be 12 hours) It is an excellent opportunity for those where the standard 9-5 doesn't fit in with your personal life and being able to do your hours over 4 days means you get 3 full days off too!
