Job Title: Trainee Smart Repair Technician

Location: Rochester (Kingsnorth Industrial Estate)

Salary: GBP22,010 per annum

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm

Job Status: Permanent

The role:

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Smart Repair Technician for our site based in Rochester (Kingsnorth Industrial Estate). This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has the passion for the automotive industry and is looking for the first step to start their career within this sector. Role Responsibilities:

  • Training to understand how to carry out polishing of new painted panels, ensuring all dirt inclusions are removed and the overall finish matches the original factory finish
  • Training on windscreen, plastic, interior repairs, removing scratches and minor paint work
  • Adhoc duties

The Person:

  • Passion for the automotive industry and wanting career to develop within this sector
  • Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 1 year
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to both work as part of a team and using own initiative
  • Flexible to work overtime during busy periods if required
