Cordant People are currently recruiting for a Visitor Service Assistant in Harrogate on a temporary basis through to the Autumn.
Hours of Work: 9:20am - 5:05pm as a shift, probably around 3 shifts per week but flexibility to pick up additional and will include weekend working (usually alternate weekends) and some evenings.
Rate of Pay: GBP8.91p/h
Job Purpose: To work as part of the Visitor Services, team to provide a high quality and efficient customer service, welcoming and orientation of visitors.
Responsibilities:
To provide a high quality of customer service, and being responsible for selling entrance tickets in line with agreed cash procedures.
Ensuring membership entrance entitlements are adhered to.
Assisting with the promoting and selling of membership.
To ensure that all front of house operational procedures and processes are followed.
Presenting a professional image to promote the high standards of our client.
To act as reception for the garden ensuring all business visitors are signed in and out and are directed accordingly.
To coordinate group sales visitors such as coach parties and all its associated procedures for the front of house.
To respond to visitor requests for information and directions, also deal with complaints in line with the clients policies and with courtesy and sympathy, referring to the Senior Visitor Services Assistant and / or Supervisor if necessary.
To comply with all Health and Safety policies and risk assessments and to immediately report any Health & Safety concerns to the Visitor Services Supervisor.
To continuously monitor and review services provided for visitors and report defects and problems to appropriate departments, including research of information. Results to be measured through visitor satisfaction mediums.
To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required of you in the post, with the possibility of actively working out of hours events as and when required.
The role requires standing most of the day and is very much customer facing with excellent customer services skills required.To apply, please submit your CV.
