We have proudly partnered with a national Technical FM & HVAC provider with an industry leading reputation to recruit a Time Served and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer due to continued growth and successfully securing new contract awards to support a number of service & maintenance works located throughout Central Scotland on a full-time permanent basis.
Employed in a field-based position covering Central Scotland, you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out service and maintenance of all manufacturer's air conditioning systems which can include but not limited to VRV/VRF's, split & multi-systems, AHU's, fan coils, pumps, water pressurisation units etc.
* Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various systems
* Carrying out general facilities maintenance including changing belts & filters, compressor changes, PCB changes, water temperature checks, emergency lighting etc.
* Participate in the companies on-call rota to provide their customers with full out of hours cover
Essential requirements:
* Served recognised apprenticeship
* City & Guilds F-Gas 2079 registered
* Highly skilled in all aspects of air conditioning servicing and repair work
* Good problem-solving skills
* Happy to carry out general facilities maintenance tasks as and when required
* Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care combined with excellent communication skills
* Full UK Drivers Licence
* Willing to contribute to working overtime
* Undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks
