A large distribution centre based in Droitwich are seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to join their busy team on a temporary ongoing basis.
Key skills required include:

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel packages
Highly organised with excellent communication skills
The ability to use initiative and work independently without supervision
Problem solving abilities
Experience working within a transport/ logistics office is preferredReporting to the Transport Supervisors and Manager the successful Office Assistant will be:

Checking in drivers at the transport office desk
Supporting phone calls and e-mails to/from customers
Answering and making phones calls to drivers
Dealing with delivery issues
Dealing with DHL delivery paperwork
Liaising with customers and agencies
Any daily H&S issues and the reporting accidents
Daily administration of vehicle paperworkThis role is being paid at GBP9.50 per hour with the potential for a permanent position being offered to outstanding candidates.

The shifts for this role work on a rotating basis which include 06:00-14:00/ 08:00-16:00/ 10:00-18:00 which will include weekend work during peak periods.
